Not a bad place. The pool is nice and nice large spot. A lot of permanents and large dogs. Nobody cleans up there their dog poop. Nasty

Not a resort. It's an rv and boat parking lot. Bath house needs torn down. No seeums will eat you alive at dusk. A lot of standing water in ditches does not help the bug situation. Move on.

Very Clean And Well Maintained
Concrete pad and hook ups were in great shape. The facility was well maintained. The cable tv and internet were functional but could use improvement. The bath house is in serious need of an update

Not A Resort
Not a bad place, but the Bay Palms RV Resort is NOT a resort by any definition. It is a combination of RV & boat storage lot, and "man camp" of construction workers staying long term. Most of the RV's had all the outside signs of long term residents: plants, plastic flamingos, extensive furniture and large BBQ grills. Many had outside refrigerators and freezers, with only minor effort to hide them. Many, if not most, had permanent wood stairs and decks built. I talked to one "camper" and he told me that he and many others are construction workers building a new courthouse in Mobile and that there are staying "at least until 2020"! Add many dogs running around and nothing at all that would qualify this as a "resort". It's an RV parking lot, man camp. If that's what you want, and you have $50 a night or $500/month to spend, then this is the place for you. We were very disappointed with the misrepresentation of the place as a resort. Don't given them a CC# before you see it.

Ok. Not Quite What I Expected
After reading reviews and looking at ratings for this RV park, we decided to give it a try.
Service was very friendly.
I had a concrete pad with full hookups. There are sites that are not concrete. There are also boats and campers stored on the grounds.
Bath house was functional and clean. But it is about as basic as it can be. It does not have AC which was not bad in Feb but in the summer, I'm sure it would be miserable in there.
There are some campers here that look like they are permanent. Some people even built wooden steps and decks to their campers.
Overall, I was a little disappointed. I did enjoy my time, but the facility is too expensive for what it is.
