Nice Place to Stay.
We stayed here while visiting my Father-in-law at the VA nursing home in Pell City.
While we didn’t spend as much time at the Resort as we would have liked to, we enjoyed the time we did spend there.
The atmosphere there was quite relaxing, the water quality and pressure was definitely above average, we stayed for 4 days at a site with full hookups in our 28 foot motor home and all went well.
The site was pretty level, and setting up the leveling jacks was quick and easy.
The staff there was very helpful and when we ended up having a change of plans that resulted in us checking out a day early, they were happy to not charge us any cancellation fee whatsoever.
We’ll go there again when returning to the Pell City area.
Its a nice place to stay.

Not What We Expected
I made reservations a couple of months in advance & requested two spots side by side with our total length for each at 45' hauling motorcycle trailers. We traveled 800 miles for a weeks stay and when we arrived the woman at checkin said our campers with trailers would be too long for the spots designated. She said we'd have to park our trailers in a lot on the other side of the campground. If anyone hauks a trailer you know maneuvering in a crowded lot with a 34ft RV is challenging especially when everyone is parked this way and that way. I explained I had confirmed we could stay hooked when I had called and the only spots available to stay hooked up put us about a 5-8 minute walk from each other. Not happy, especially after the long travel and having talked about the length and wanting 2 spots side by side. We stayed one night and found somewhere else that could accommodate us. This place is way off the beaten path, is beautiful but for permanent weekenders with most never leaving.

Nice Spot
Lots are mostly level, very quiet, great for an extended stay if that’s what your looking for. Lots of long term era here but they weren’t here when we were.

Beautiful..
If we had known how beautiful a place this was, we would have made arrangements to stay longer. Man made lake, A. Well kept, A. Quiet, A. Reasonable A.
It is a little off the beaten path and mapquest was only a 10th of a mile off! Well worth the price of admission.
