Un Camping Près De Tout

Nous avons lu les différents commentaires et nous n'avions pas beaucoup d'attentes. Cependant, le camping a répondu à tous nos besoins. Il est situé à environ 20 minutes d'Halifax et 6-7 minutes des services. Notre terrain n'était pas très grand et un peu en pente. Nous passions la majorité de nos journée à l'extérieur du camping et le soir venu il manquait rien. Les douches et salles de bains sont corrects. Il est vrai que le bâtiment n'est pas fermé alors attentions aux bébittes ou aux froids plus tard dans l'année. Il y a une table de billard et une piscine mais pas énormément d'activité. Tranquille et notre section (F) pas d'enfants. Nous avons adoré notre expérience.

Woodhaven RV Park

Very nice park and friendly staff. I made reservations in February for July. I noticed that they didn't take out a deposit in June soI called to make sure they had one for me. They did and said they would not take any money until I got there. I told the lady when I made the reservations that I needed a pull through because I have a 40ft. toyhauler and wanted to be able to get my bike in and out. They took me to 2 sites that were back to back and had me pull through. WOW 2 sites for the price of 1. Extra room and level! The bath house was clean and the season people were very friendly.

Great Place

We arrived late, on short notice. Everyone here was friendly and accommodating. Found us a site with full hook ups, 50 amp. Even escorted us to the site and made sure we were okay! Perfect location for touring Halifax and Peggy's Cove. We couldn't be happier!

Finally Great WiFi

Nice place, beautiful pull through spot and the fastest WiFi we have encountered since leaving home 6 weeks ago.

Great Spot

This is a great Campground for family’s or couples , good wifi, nice pool and full hook ups-(W/P/S)at most lots, they have 15,30 & 50 amp service for just about any Camper/RV. Prices are reasonable. It’s in a good location as well, not to far from tourist attractions near or outside the Halifax area for commuting to. We go there often

This was a horrible place. I would rather get a hotel room the next time. The sides are squishy, there are bushes between them. This was the worst shower ever. Bathrooms look like they predate World War (I)! They don't drain, yuck

Only Good For Short Term

Having made the unfortunate choice to stay here because of it's proximity to Halifax only strengthens my love for provincial parks. It seems that most of the good sites are taken by permanent our long term renters. The remaining sites have water & electricity (15 amp) but no waste dump. The washroom/shower area has no door of any type for protection from insects or animals. Using the toilets one will encounter a multitude of bugs & spiders waiting for them. And the occasional bird & bird sh#t on the sinks. And most of the remaining available spots are all on ground that isn't even close to being level. The only saving grace here is they will provide a lot of wood to make the RV level. Good: Wifi Small pool Close to Halifax Bad: Washrooms No level ground No waste water hookups No 30 amp hookups
