Close To Everything
Very nice location, was able to see a lot around and Halifax, Dartmouth was easily reachable.Sure super accommodating staff. Unfortunately 50amp did not work and our EMS kept kicking off. Had to downsize to 30A which was sort of ok. View was pretty on opposite side of road and interesting that road sound was not bothersome at all, dies down at night. Price is Canada $

Pretty Good
Stayed here for one night and it had everything you could need. Nice staff and a good level of trees and nature. Reminded us of our old camping spots from our childhood! About 7k from Peggys Cove so great spot to see everything around the area.

Best Campground In Canada
This is a real genuine campground, I did travel from Vancouver BC, and was so glad to find a real natural privately owned campground for once and full of trees not just an RV park, it is also a nice change from the Resort. The road to get there is awesome, and have groceries stores, gas stations, and view of the coves on the way, also close to some of the best East Coast small sea food restaurants and Peggy's Cove light house. I hope the amenities will never get updated, the owner should even charge an extra for them, so rusticly cute, those can not be built like this anymore, and are priceless to me, I do RV to escape from my house, not to find it back everywhere I go. I camped on top of the hill with my small rig, with 30 amps, water and drain, I had a really nice time coming back to this site for night time.

Typical Older Campground
Place needs some TLC. Lady that owns the place is very nice and helpful. There are a majority of seasonal rigs that seem like they must leave it there year-round. Most kept pretty tidy. Services do need some work. Nice and quiet across the street from the water. WiFi is hit or miss. When it worked it was okay but mostly you couldn’t get a connection or it dropped you.

Disappointed!
We reserve a site for 5 nights since it was near Peggy’s Cove and midway between Halifax and Lunenburg. Entering the campground, it appeared run down. Owners were friendly and gave us a map which showed sites where we could pick the one we wanted. Our site was grassy and flat, but the posts with water and electricity had been backed into or run over. We found our water hookup laying on a rock. As for WiFi, non existent until you were near the office. It appears to have been a beautiful campground years ago, but is now sadly in need of repair.

On The Main Road To Peggy's Cove
Easy acess plenty of variety of sites, mostly with services and the amenities are good for the price. Wifi works for us close to office, laundry $2 cold water. Closes for season the start of October.
