Overnight While Traveling
Great for an overnight stay, decently level sites, stuffed pretty close together, bathrooms and showers are fenominal better than most. Easy check in. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you Only reason why 4 star and not 5 is cause squeezed in so close together.

Bigger Rigs, Pass this By
We reserved an overnight a week in advance with the request to stay hooked up. I explained we are 62’ long overall truck and 5thwheel. We were placed in a tiny site barely navigating boulders and so close to the sites we would not have room to push slides out. Also the site was significantly short. We were given another site, same problem. We were given a 3 rd site. It was long enough but forget using your awning. The only thing ok about this place is the rate. It’s ok for short 5th wheels under 35’ or bumper pulls. We will not ever come back. Oh, the hookups were probably installed by a drunk man. Be sure to carry extra water hose.

This Is how Campgrounds Should Operate!
It starts out with a friendly, caring staff. Then the amenities given with an extremely reasonal rate. Topped off with being close to I-80, but far enough away that the freeway noises are minimized. This campground really deserves 6 stars. Free with campsite: 1. Fenced puppy park 2. Mini putt-putt 3. Wifi, no you won't be able to stream or play games. Reading email and researching your next stop or what to do in the area are achievable. 4. Free courtesy vehicle to drive into town to eat out or grab groceries. Its not a luxury SUV, just a Chevy SUV big enough for a family of 5 and groceries. It does its job of getting you around town without having to unhook you tt/5th wheel or towed vehicle from your motorhome. Pure convenience and a time saver if all you are doing is staying a night or two. The "luxury" sites (which I didn't have) include cable tv. I hope to stay again on my way home in a few weeks and will keep their sister sites in other areas in mind for future stays.

Good Overnight Pit Stop
Good for a one night stay. Clean facilities, had many amenities like put put golf, a playground for the kiddos, horseshoes, etc. Easy check in and affordable. Only down fall was very little shade. We would stay there again as an overnight pit stop.

Typical For Wyoming I80
Nothing fancy about this place but it's clean, convenient and friendly...perfect for an overnight stay along Interstate 80 and typical for all the RV parks that dot this stretch of the highway.

Great Place To Stay!
Loved this place. We got in late and they had a Super easy check in system with available sites clearly marked. Showers were Clean. The grounds were nicely kept. Putt-putt is free to guest as well as a nice sized playground. Only downside is also an upside. Close to interstate, so easy to find and get to but you can hear the cars at night. My family will definitely be stopping here again

Great Overnight Pitstop!
We pulled in at 1130 at night on 1 July 2018 with no reservation. Their night checkin station was clear, and indicated which sites were available with an envelope containing a registration form and a map clearly marked with the site number. Reasonable prices and many discounts. Sites were pull through. A huge playground for kids. I highly recommend this campground and would stay here again.

Takin A Break
The facility is dated but new owners are trying to rejuvenate the spaces. The spaces are close together. There is a decent dog park and good laundry facilities. Weak Wi-Fi. The staff are the stars of the show however. Very friendly and helpful. Not much to do in Rawlins and most if the campers seem to be workers at the local refinery. The wind always blows but not extreme most if the time. Good place to stop for a day or two to rest. They even have a courtesy vehicle to run into town. I would stay again.

Liar Liar!
When we called in the am the lady said getting a fully equipped slot was not a problem, plenty of room this time of year. Also they would be open until 9pm so late arrive not an issue. 6pm closed and no slots with cable. Right next door was the Westen Hills campground. Open for business and very accomodating. This over liars anytime. Its up to you.

Great Experience
I love the attention to detail that the staff has. Very helpful getting us set up as well as suggesting activities for us to go do. The shower stalls were not ideal however the overall experience was great.

Just OK
If you are tired and just want to stop overnight, then it is ok. Working staff there are very friendly and helpful. They are probably the best aspect of the place. Roads in/ out of the park are really rutted. The sites are all uneven gravel and weeds are abundant. The pet area is all rocks so not very good. Wife said women's bathroom was ok. Men's, not so much. Went in, looked at shower stalls and left to shower in MH. Baseboards were all falling off foot of showers, pair peeling off walls, etc. and the noise - sounded like trains and trucks driving through your rv all night. Next trip east, I would rearrange stops for better and quieter parks than this. The park really needs to put some money into fixing grounds and facilities.

We got stuck in Cheyenne in a snow storm. All the roads heading west were closed. Talked to Rose on the phone. She was very understanding. She told us if we could not make it in that night. Come in the following day and would only charge us one night. The roads finally opened, we got there about 9:30 that night. She left and envelope with my name on it with directions on how to get to our camp sight, along with treats for our dogs and mints for us. Camp ground is a bit rustic but the staff was very friendly and helpful will stay there again.

Friendly Staff
Super friendly staff even though we never met them. We arrived after hours & our packet was waiting for us. Easy check in. Sites are unpacked gravel which made it difficult to level. Otherwise nice grounds & exceptionally nice rest rooms. Close to the interstate but quiet. We stayed here in March & again in July. They seem to have fixed the sites and we didn't need to do much leveling at all this time. Our dogs were also able to enjoy their doggy park and our daughter enjoyed their pretty awesome playground.

I don't write many reviews, because all businesses that serve the public should provide good service. Every once in awhile a business exceeds expectations. This is on of those times! The park is nice and the facilities are great but the staff is outstanding!! I highly recommend this as a stop. They have a new name "Red Desert Rose". Terry and Barbara

RV World campground Aka Now Red Desert R
Name change, now called Red Desert Rose. Stayed overnight did not use facilities. Courtesy car available so you don't have to unhook. Very friendly chatty hosts. Clean grounds. Pet area but we no longer have one. Mini golf. Small store inside. Bought a cool cable tv clamp that works awesome on our cable. Gives a better grip for those of us with arthritis for tv hook up. High desert so a little windy. Would stay again.

Overnight
Stayed overnight, owner took us to site and was very helpful and kind. Our site was closest to interstate/trains, so a little loud but the other campground in town is as well. Kids loved the play ground.

Beautiful 60s Style Campground And RV Pa
This park is beautiful. The pull though site I had offered 50, 30, 20 AMP service. There is a wonderful pet area. Management Management Also keeps the grounds clean and picked up. Good stay if no trains are rolling through.

After Hours
We arrive late and found the enclosed late high check in area. Envelopes were arranged by available sites and instructions we clearly provided. This is important when you've never been there before. Most RV membership (ie, FMCA, Good Sam) are accepted. We had to depart early and didn't get to look over the amenities, but the restrooms were clean and warm!
