This campground is at least 25 minutes from the Grand Teton gate. The road going from the highway to the campground is posted 35 MPH, there is a lot of curves and the road is fairly narrow. We didn’t have any problems pulling a 40’ 5th wheel up to the campground. It is very quiet in this campground, primary use is horse trail riding. We did notice that we spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to the park, we didn’t stay in the park because we thought the camping fees are a little pricey. Turpin Meadows has recycling, trash, water spigots and vault toilets. There is NO Verizon cell service.

Nice, Quiet, Option to Grand Teton Camp

It was July 22 and I got to Colter Bay at 7:30. Obviously it didn't have open spots. Although this place had 4 or 5 spots when I got there I got got to choose. It's clean, a little bit far, but it worth. Cost $12 for one car and extra $6 for the second.
