Wonderful Place

I stayed here in the early part of the season this year (2021) and enjoyed it a great deal. Well maintained sites, the restrooms were kept clean and the camp hosts were very accommodating. Ice and wood are readily available. All in all, I’m very glad that I stayed there!

Beautiful Park!

Absolutely beautiful park! The beaches and sand dunes are magnificent. Our camping spot (#35) was huge. Parking area level. Nestled in pretty pines. This site may be difficult for larger rigs to maneuver as the drive is flanked by pines. Lots of open green space around our site. Bathrooms and showers very nice. Small bench outside showers. A bench inside shower stalls would be nice for ease of use and privacy. Dump station and water available centrally. Would absolutely recommend this gem Of a park!

Decent

Ok took wife for an anniversary get away. Do your homework on the sites. We found ourselves in site 39 which is along the road. Very strange having people bike and walk literally along side of your RV. There are nice sites buried in the canopy of the trees. We weren’t lucky enough to get that. Very relaxing. Has fresh water fill station and dump station. I would go back but would find another site.

Great mid west Campground

Wide variety of spots with something to suit everyone. They didn’t have any electric sites open when we arrived Sunday afternoon in August but as a lot of the electric sites are along the main park road we were ok with that. Our site was spacious and relatively secluded. Bathrooms were flush toilets and well stocked with soap and toilet paper. There was a nice 1 mile hike through the Dunes on the cordwalk to a dog friendly beach. Very pretty spot and even in summer didn’t feel too crowded.

Beautiful & Spacious Sites

There was plenty of room to host our group of 18 on site 86 around the campfire. The bath houses on the south end are private, clean, & spacoius as well. The park itself is beautiful and we spent a lot of time down on the shores of Lake Michigan, an easy hike right from the campsites. We'll definitely be back!

A Winter Camping Gem

What a beautiful place to camp in winter! Staff is helpful and friendly. Our site had a view to the lake and just a short walk to the beach. Many trails offered and nicely groomed for the snow. We'll be back in summer!

There are many wonderful sites here each one is special. I can’t wait to go back.
