Pros And Cons
Have been here twice. Clean bathrooms. Nice pools. Love the mini golf. Very busy and noise park. Down side many campers do not know camper educate but this IS NOT the fault of the campground. Muddy in the rain yes but we had some of the best family time we've had in a long time. Site's are narrow and could stand to be wider. And our sites flooded badly. But I have come to the conclusion your level of camping is what you bring to it. I would camp here again hands down.

Great Staff, Muddy Park!
Staff was courteous, this is a KOA Holiday so it is a staycation place. Lots of kids and fun things for them to do. If it rains it will be a giant sandy, mud mess. They could really benefit from using gravel in this park. 2 Stars for nice staff, -3 stars for sandy mud mess and super tight sites with insane amount of pine trees.

Midweek Best
Good location. Hayward is a great town. Stayed a week and were luck to be an outer campsite. Very few toilets and showers for the huge population. Hated lack of privacy and security of shower curtain and knee high opening from floor to wall. Outer door kept open due to lack of shower ventilation which made showering even less safe. Discovered shower on opposite side of campground with private stalls with locking doors which wad much better but several had burned out light bulbs so couldnt be used. Had partiers next to us way past midnight and no one came by to tell them about quiet hrs all wk end. Saw at least one koa golf cart drive by. I wouldnt want to stay in heart of summer, lack of showers a big issue.

This place is tons of fun for kids but not so much for anyone else. The kids were not disruptive or bad, but there were just so many of them. The sites are super packed into this former tree farm that you are right next to one another. There’s a pool, but it’s so packed with kids and toddlers that if you were able to get in you would worry about how much urine is being left in it. The showers are very busy, there’s constant noise from all the activities being announced. The trees and tightly packed campers block the breeze. One the positive side, it’s pretty clean, kids love it, they came around with a dog treat one night, and everyone is pretty well behaved. I wouldn’t want to go back on a weekend again, it’s just too crowded.

Nice park, mostly for families. A "stay cation" park with lots to do for kids and families. Lots of trees which makes getting in and out a challenge.
