We take the grandkids here every year for a getaway. Lots for them to do. Tubing on the Sugar river is always a highlight.
During the week they offer 5 nights including wristbands for a flat fee. Great deal for us and not busy during the week.
If you're just staying a night and are not interested in the amenities you don't purchase the wristbands, which is why they sell them separately.

Nice But Too Expensive
I absolutely LOVE that they do a hero's weekend. It was our first visit to the camp grounds. And we had a very nice time.
Our second time was just as nice as the first. Except if my family from Brodhead wanted to visit they would pay an insane amount for their family of 5 to sit by the fire. And i didnt like that you have to buy bracelets for the kids to do kid activities. We just paid how much for the site, and now more money for my child to play?
Its a very nice local campground. But its too expensive. We can camp cheaper else where and visitors are welcome for free. And my kiddo is free to play. So unfortunately we wont use this camp ground often.
