Do NOT even attempt to go to this campground unless you are highly experienced with primitive camping and driving on extremely muddy and rocky roads. I severely damaged my car and nearly got stranded with no cell service while trying to leave this campsite. The sites itself are butt up against the train tracks and it’s very loud with 3 trains coming through in the middle of the night. I also experienced some people driving in revving their loud AF engines at midnight and then proceeding to either shoot a gun several times or light off extremely loud and uneven firecrackers — either way, I was actually concerned for my safety. The sites themselves are gorgeous, but not worth it.
