Watuga State Park has two RV campgrounds. We stayed at Beaver Creek. The RV sites are nice and spread apart. The park offers many hiking trails and other amenities such as pool, lake, and exhibits
The bath house was clean, but not centrally located. The staff was helpful. Verizon was non existent. WiFi was available at the check in station.
Traveling to Beaver Creek is tricky. If you take WV 39 out of Marlington to WV 21 the road fine. If you go into the the park from US 219 the road to Beaver Creek is 7 miles up and over a mountain that twists turns.
The park is a good location to ride the Greenbrier Trail out of Marlington as well as your the Green Bank observatory in Greenbank
We stayed in a 30 ft Class A
