Extremely Steep Road Going In
We brought a motorhome (10 cyl) pulling a Jeep up to this campground. It made it... barely. The road is so extremely steep and narrow.. completely stressed me out getting up there, and back down the next day. The camground itself is very nice, and the lady who runs it very nice and friendly. They do have long term camping, but at the bottom of the hill, that's more like a parking lot, and again, extremely NOT big-rig friendly

1st Time White Knuckles Getting In
I took a 40ft tri-axle 5th wheel to this lovely spot. I called management first to see if it was doable. The road is narrow, steep and some serious switchbacks, but it is paved. It was well worth it! Beautiful scenery. Stayed in premium site with concrete patio. Hook ups are at the rear so bring long power line and septic hose.

Awesome Stay
Stayed a week sept 21- 27 on top of the mountain at twin hollow , the owners were fantastic and very helpful , they do have some rules but nothing crazy ,awesome smoke house outside restaurant, (building a new building) nice level back in spots with concrete pads ,it was very hot and dusty while we were there but they watered for dust control ,the atv riding was great the trails leave right from your door , the town of Gilbert is just 2 miles away , I would definitely stay here again ,

Good Amenities And Nice Location
Campground is mainly for atv riders on Hatfield and McCoy trails but is welcoming to everyone. We camped in the open tent space which provided a fire ring and picnic table. There is a bbq restaurant on site and they sell some drinks, snacks, ice and firewood. Bathrooms with showers are nice. Cabins look really cool. Place is clean and workers are friendly enough. Would return.
