Fantastic
We and our friends have been coming here for 4 years now. Great staff and immaculate sites fot reasonable rates. Space in between for privacy and long and wide sites. Plenty to do in the area with quiet surroundings. Perfect for hiking, biking, and even river rafting if you choose to do so.

Off Grid Camping In Nature
We spent 3 days off our devices and loved camping at Elk Meadows! Gorgeous camp with spacious woodsy sites. The park requires payment in advance on reservations and there is a 3 week cancellation policy. There are many camp rules to maintain the natural outdoors experience. Closes in the winter.

Mr
We stayed there 2 years ago and plan to go back again next week. We had one of the back spots in early summer. The mountain view was beautiful. The spaces are roomy and wide enough that you don't hear your neighbors talking. The large trees in most of the sites give good shade and if you want sun there's a big day use area for reading and playing. The bathrooms are clean and the managers are nice. We like the close proximity to hiking Mt Adams and all the waterfalls in the area. There is even a long trail leaving the park going along the river and up to a viewpoint. The cabins are spaced far away from each other and in the shade so our family will have a nice place to stay when we're visiting the area. We almost don't want to tell our friends because we'd like to keep it to ourselves although we have.

We spent three nights at Elk Meadows and had an amazing experience. By far the cleanest and best manicured park we have ever stayed. Elk, deer, eagles, and the incredible Mt. Adams visible from our campsite, great Trout fishing less than 20 minutes away...we will be back for a longer stay.

Stayed here last night and we were lucky to get one of those back spots with a beautiful view. We sat behind our trailer looking across the meadow, watching clouds roll across the mountain, listening to birds and spotting elk. If you get one of the other sites, just carry your chair to the day use area for the same view. Other sites are lovely and secluded. This is not a KOA style Park!

Rather Good
If you get a site at the end you have great views.

I was very surprised when I had reservations for Elk Meadows, i ended up having emergency surgery so we were unable to use our reservations. Elk Meadows did not want to give me a refund. They would let me set up another date but not give me a refund. I wanted the time I had set up as it was my anniversay as well as family reunion. They finally agreed to give me a partial refund. I was surprised they didnt want to just give the refund. I finally convinced them to give a complete refund but they were upset that i wanted a full refund
