So Relaxing
We just stayed for a couple days as we had rv issues, but it was an awesome stay. Everyone was helpful and so friendly. We will be back soon!

Third Time Here!
This park is close, 2 hours, from home and is great for a getaway. The rate for a full hook up was 30.00 per night. The campground is varied in the type of camping so it’s good to take a look at the map with the office staff (9am-3pm). We have stay down by the river which allows you to see big ocean vessel coming up the Columbia or returning through Astoria. OR you can find some shade in one of the spacious sites. Or get a hillside woodsy site where you can see the masts of the ships above the tree line. Things to know: the wind always comes up in the afternoon, always. Some days too strong for kites. The sites with trees and hillside are spacious. Firewood is 6.00 for 6 pieces. Be sure to buy a couple fire starters. The staff will deliver your wood to your site. Very friendly staff, clean facilities (I think the showers take quarters). Very pleasant BUT on foggy nights the big ship blow their horns and it will scare the begeezus out of you! And it could happen more than once!

Nice, quiet & neatly kept campground. Riverfront sites are full sun, but there is shade on most of the rest. The covered areas/restrooms each have a single pay shower (50-cents) but was long enough for the two of us to shower. Would stay here again.

River View
This site is way off of the beaten path. Going past a church I thought we would be in their parking lot. The river view is amazing though it is peaceful and quiet. The stars are amazingly clear in the dark still night. If you have kids and pets there's a lot of space to run and play. It says sewer, for one of the amenities but the spot we parked no sewer. The space is unique and unusual and totally out of the way. The price was very reasonable.

Wonderful campground. Very spacious lots. Very friendly staff. Good views of the river traffic. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy during spring break. One of the bathrooms was closed and one of the showers were closed. We be back.

Launching Ramp
There is a launching ramp here as well. It is not for beginners though. It is narrow and has a slight dogleg in it. You can't line up straight due to a house directly in front of it so you have to back around a corner. You cant retrieve your boat at low tide because the trailer wheels will drop off the end. You might have to wait a couple of hours. There is no dock so be sure your engine will start before you launch

Best Little Hidden Gem
This campground is one of the best unknowns in the area. If you're not careful, you'll drive right past it. The park has everything from yurts to old school tent sites and full hook ups for trailers. There's a basketball court, tennis court and softball field. One of the best things about this campground is that its right on the Columbia River so you can watch the ship traffic go by. Great hiking trails, beaches to walk on and loads of great swimming will keep you coming back for more.
