The campground has many large pull through and back in spaces. It is situated in dense second growth evergreen forest. There were many magnificent wild rhododendrons in bloom (mid-June), some stretching 15' high or more. Restrooms were clean. No hookups, and the entrance to the dump station is tightly fit between pine trees.
There are great views of the Olympic Mountains across Hood Canal - not an actual canal, more like a fjord. The beach is rocky.
