Mostly RVs. Lots of stars and a bridge over a pond. Had a cougar warning up. Area was out in the wilderness but wide open grass field for campers, no tree barriers between sites. Water source was the bathroom sink. Vending machines available. Pond to net fish. Internet said $18 per site, but it was $22 and then $7 for the 2nd vehicle. Staffer met us upon late arrival and showed us to the last isolated spot, by distance. There was a garage only 30 ft from us, appeared to be neighbors.
Would have liked a spigot or outdoor showerhead or lower rate. Google maps lead us down a dead end road and we finally gave up on checking which site would be best to start backpacking at Snowgrass the next morning.
Decent site, overpriced for just laying your sac, but relief when we thought there was nothing else.
