Water and electric only with a dump station. Sites level but fairly close to each other - no trees or bushes separating sites. Very windy during my stay. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Will be back.

Don’t Expect Much
PROS: + Military Only so there was availability. + $18 a night. + level, paved spaces with partial hookups (H2O & elec). + close to the beach CONS: - it’s a fenced off area with no views. - Spots are pretty close to each other (I measured 12 feet from spot to spot) - people did NOT pick up after their dogs. - Laundry facility is 1 washer and two dryers that take $1.50 in qtrs but nobody has qtrs on base or in Pacific Beach. - The MWR staff is useless. The girls smile but don’t actually help you. They don’t give change, they don’t help or put in any effort. A guy came to check in (12:30pm)and the girl behind the counter told him to come back at 1300 for check in (pure laziness), the RV park was empty so she could have helped. -Half the items in the store were’nt in the system so the cashier couldn’t let me buy stuff. The bar unexpectedly closed for the day. The food at the little “restaurant “ tasted good but made me sick for almost24 hours. service sucks but the location is +

This place is ok. We have only ever stayed in the RV park. We went several times but haven’t been back in about two years. I don’t like that they don’t have sewer at each site but they do have a sewer dump. The resort is very close to the beach and there are no trees to break the wind. The tent sites are basically a large open field. I don’t tent camp but if I did, I would never camp here. They also have a restaurant onsite as well. The food is mediocre, at best though.

This is nice campground right on the ocean. No water or sewer hook ups, just electricity. Fun for the kids on the beach. I give it 4 because it would be nice to have water hook up.

This place is so screwed up. We had to move our camper to a non hookup area because they said they were booked up. There was at least 20 open spots for that knight. Then one person says we didn't have to move and another says we do. Very unorganized. My 80 year old mother in laws family had to leave that night because of this. They wanted to stay another day but instead had to drive all the way to bordman Oregon to find a place for their camper.
