Steep and Narrow

The last 8 miles of the road to this campground are very steep and narrow and climb nearly a mile above sea level. A sign at the Olympic National Park entrance notes the road is not suitable for trailers. Rating for Tent campers, who will find one of the most scenic mountain vistas out their tent door. Water is available and a seasonal ranger station is nearby. At least three hiking trails begin at the campground.
