Juneuary Mosquitoes

We left the record heat wave for higher altitude and cooler temperatures. We were shocked to be the first in the camp on Friday 2pm. 5 bars Verizon for voice but roaming data at best. No other utilities. Tiny gravel sites, but #5 accepted our 30'. The highway noise is minor bouncing off the lake. Exit Hwy 12 @ NF498 at Leech Lake. Then the mosquitoes found us. Citronella? They're vampires. A fisherman told us they'd be gone in a month. We're enjoying the indoors and shade - while appreciating the view of the lake and White Pass Ski Area. We'll be gone in a couple days!

Wrong location. It's located on the east side of the white pass by Leech Lake near the Pacific Crest Trail.
