This park is a gem. Small but great usage of the lake. Super clean! Lots of boards, kayaks, row boats for rent or bring your own. Owner and employees go out of their way to accommodate. At the moment the hook ups are being upgraded since it is apparently the oldest RV park in WA. Nice and relaxing park - only downfall is the proximity to the main road but that isn’t the park’s fault. A bit noisy at rush hour.

Quirky but lovely
According to the owner/manager, this has been a campground, at the north end of Silver Lake, since the 1700's. So as expected the size and location of sites is somewhat arbitrary, and utilities may be on the 'wrong' side. Tell the owner/manager what you're driving and he can tell you whether he has a site that'll work for you, and he'll make sure you're able to hook up. The facilities are old, but clean and they work well. The sewer dump is also a bit quirky - it's on the uphill side of the camp road. But just uphill from that is a large grassy area that you can park at to use the dump. The owner/manager will be glad to offer assistance. For all its quirks, this was a really nice place on a large lake, and it was a pleasure to be there. BTW, your GPS probably won't be able to find it by name. As you drive, look for Ruby's Bait and Tackle. The bait shop is the office for the RV campground.

Don't Come If You Have Pets
We were so happy when we found this place. There are very few options in this area and most are terrible. This is no exception. The rate was $20 for a site that included a grassy spot with a fire pit and picnic table close to the lake. Great! Then we got hit with the $10 pet fee, per pet!! It was the end of a long day so we paid it but that is a terrible business practice. There are hand written signs all over the park that immediately make you feel unwelcome and that the owners are true curmudgeons. The bathrooms are disgusting and there was lots of old dog pool lying around the camp. I'm guessing people think that fee covers cleanup, and it should! We will definitely not be back here.
