Great Experience

We were here late September 2021 for a small family reunion. Some of the family in RV's and some staying in cabins. Everyone had great experiences. Fishing, the Fall Festival, and the resort amenities were enjoyed by all. The store was reasonably well-stocked and the grill served up great food and ice cream. All the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Would recommend!

The grounds of this golf course are always so good we keep coming back!

Off Season Camping

We had a pull through spot close to the center of the park. The spot was kinda level. The Wi Fi was 3 bars but would not connect. I talked with a couple that walked closer to the antenna and could connect. Cell service (Verizon), we had one bar. All the restrooms were closed because of Covid. Friendly staff on check in and snack bar had a great burger. Great off season price. I would probably not stay there during prime time season due to the sites are close to each other and it would be noisy. There is a lake with a swim beach, golf course, mini golf, swimming pool, paddle boats, etc. This would be great for a family with kids. There is also a State Park next door.

Camper

Loved this area. Spent 3 fall nights. Facilities are clean and well taken care of. Very attentive main office. This area is a hidden gem with lovely hikes and nice biking. Office even went out of way to get kayaks for some fall kayaking.

Nice Place

Clean, lots of restrooms, laundry facilities. Spaces are a little tight, but not uncomfortably so. Full hook ups for about $50. Beach was small, but the kids enjoyed swimming. We also enjoyed a lightening and thunder show. Be aware that very high winds can be in the area.

Great Trip But...

First of all, we had a amazing trip. We stayed 5 nights and it was AMAZING. But it was because we made it amazing. The park is nice and well kept but the water area was a little sketchy, it didn't look inviting. Maybe bad time of the year? IDK. Our camp sites were amazing but the mosquitoes were a terror. We explored everywhere and had a blast doing it. Not a lot of shopping options for souvenirs. It's what you make it, folks! Probably wont be back but I would recommend to someone.

My wife and I have been coming here for years even since we were teenagers I'm 70 now we love the place many things to do golf course right close by other lakes close by fishing is good always had fun will continue to go

Sun Lakes

While there is nothing secluded about each cabin or space there, I found it clean and comfortable. People having fun are somewhat louder than the norm and children finding new things to do and see there is wonderful.

Welcome to the Zoo

Yapping dogs everywhere! Little kids on bikes everywhere! People walk through anyone's campsite! I had a "premium" site. It was right next to a large group of tent campers. Another site had about 35 kids bikes parked and laying all over the place! Seriously! What a zoo! I won't be back. If you have a young family, then you probably wouldn't mind this place, because you would be used to the kaos.
