Beautiful park, right on the river nice spacing between spots, and lovely park like surroundings. The only drawback with spiders. No kidding, I must have killed at least 30 that hadn't made webs on my rig when I pulled out!

We had reserved a spot at hells gate state park but when we arrived on this 103 degree day, our spot had no electricity! The ranger graciously advised looking at chief Timothy. What a great backup! There was a swim beach, separate area for dog swim, pull through sites, lots of shade. Plenty of spiders too, but they pretty much kept to themselves. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
