A Strange Place

This park is located on both sides of the chehalis river where there is a small falls. They say if the river is high and the sun just right you can see a rainbow in the spray. There are extensive hiking trails across the river from the campground but they are inaccessible on foot because a flood washed away the bridge and it was never replaced. The hiking trails are in a very unhealthy stand of old and second growth. The campground is nice enough but there are a lot of better choices around chehalis.
