Great Get Away Close To Home

Clean, spacious and right on the water. Bathrooms, showers and parks for the kids. I really appreciated that they could take off fours hours and us adults could walk through the wildlife area. I made my 2nd reservation while still enjoying my first. Dump on site was a huge perk!

Spacious Sites

Lovely campground, nice green spaces between sites and the river to play in. There is a beach and a boat launch. Campground was half full during the week, but pretty full on the weekend. Only drawback was campground is 15 minutes away from groceries and other services. We loved our stay.

Walk Up

Beautiful cg on the Snake river. Had no reservation, Drove in middle of the week about 3 pm there were plenty of pull through spots on the water....level too..... traffic noise during the day, but didn't bother me at night.....water and electric $6.50 a night with senior pass.....can't beat that!

As advertised. Lots of good sites and grass for the kids and dogs. Bathrooms are not always the cleanest. The only downside is that all sites are reservable and we think that stinks. If you want to stay 14 days, you end up moving around.

Enjoyed our stays

Stopped overnight twice here. Easy online reservation system with pre-registration that makes check-in fast and simple. Sites have electrical but no water or sewer (fresh water and dump station available near gatehouse). Lots of trees and space between sites. Entrance gate is locked from 10pm to 6am. Public consumption of alcohol prohibited. Clean washrooms. Near highway and railway but noise was not bad.
