One Of The Worst Camping Experiences
It started off bad and just kept getting worse. When we checked in it was after hours, booked through coast to coast, we weren’t in the list and had to sit at security and watch the sun go down and finally let in after security called the owners and escorted us to a site directly in front of the playground and bathroom - we have no small children. From there they started sending a loud aggressive security guard to our door telling us the Office needed to see us. My partner went to the office to see what was needed and they mentioned a usage fee. Mind you we have no idea what we “used” as the sites don’t even offer fire pits. nothing to use but it’s how they make money over the coast to coast and because of it we will NEVER return because the site is not worth $25/day. After the guard harassed us about that for a couple days we got tagged by someone who complained about our dogs being outside and threatened to report us to doggie CPS. Please see Pic of how ppl left WHOLE BABIES outside!

Lots of fun there. My kids grew up on that campground. I've been a member for 23 years and always loved the place!! Moved to Pa and look forward getting back for some fun.

Gross Pool
We went there several years back, so they may have fixed it up by now. The pool water was a deep green, which they tried to say was due to the iron in the local water. We left and went elsewhere because the pool was an important part of the trip with kids. Funny... the place we went nearby didn’t have the same issue with iron in the water! Their pool was great :)

Lovely, Clean Park
Great Park, especially for members. Membership is not cheap, and unless you make maximum use of it, it won't pay for itself. We travel the entire country so it can't possibly pay for itself in our case. And if I'm not mistaken, this is a members only park.

Worth the membership
I'm a full-timer with a membership. this is a safe ... peaceful campground that I can stay at for about $3 a day with full hookups and be right on the water. not to mention check out free kayaks/canoes.. have great music every weekend and 3 pools. for me it is well worth the membership fee.

Might have wanted to stay here, but came after 4 pm so they wanted us to reschedule, just to show us the place! So not likely we will ever stay here!
