Very Nice Campground

We had a great stay. Site 15 was very level and spacious with a lot of shade. The roads to the park are very tight so be prepared for that. Cell phone service with Verizon was good. Dump station was nice. Very quite park.

Nice clean neat campground. Hiking trails are great and staff is friendly. Definitely a return destination!

Great State Park

This is one our favorite campgrounds to go to! Sites are level, spread out and the facilities are clean, and well taken care of. Lots of hiking and bike trails. The James River is right there to fish and boat on! Great family destination!

Relaxing Place To Stay

Very attractive relatively new state park. Lots of trails to hike and bike. Primitive camping all the way up to large RV pull thru sites with good vegetation between camp sites. Variation in flora and fauna with open fields, pine and hardwood forests, and frontage along the James River. Will visit often.
