Clean park on Lake Anna. Most sites are permanent. We stayed Three nights no sewer hookups were available, but they did have a dumping station. 50 amp electric was good. No cable TV available. A little pricey but a decent stay. Be sure to check out the Cooling Pond brewery just down the road: Fantastic

Quiet
Make sure you have a 50/30 amp pigtail as most available sites were 50 amp only.

Travel Trailers
We have a travel trailer, not huge. It’s about 30ft. We asked if full hook up sites were available and we were told no but there were plenty with water and electric. That’s great- we don’t mind that. Full hookups are easier. Well, we do what we always do and explore. The grounds are nice and shaded. Lots of ppl put in their boats so traffic is busy with lots of cars, many which go well above the posted speed limit. While we were walking, we noticed tent campers in full hook up sites. We saw about 7 spots of full hook up being taken by tent campers. We see several campers go to the dump station, so there are plenty of ppl who com here who want full hook ups. I just think they need to prioritize for everyone to make life easier but it was a beautiful site

Pretty Park Rough Crowd
The site was a little difficult to get into but overall was Roomy and nice. it was hard to pump our black tank though because of the slant but we worked it out. The kicker for us though wasthe people at the site next to us there's a huge domestic incident around midnight a lot of screaming lot of explicatives don't think we'll go back

Dog Problems
Probably the worst camping experience ever. News flash to the group with 3 barking dogs and 1 rather aggressive pitbull. If your dogs are a menace to society, don't expect your offspring to fair any better in life. Leave the dogs and "F bomb" rap music at home, and try reading a book to your kids around the campfire instead of ruining everyone else's camping experience. Honestly, the campsites are packed in tight, dirty, dusty, and not cleaned prior to the next occupancy. Add tree's and backing a larger trailer into most spots can be a challenge. The beach was a joke at best. At times, I wasn't sure if this place was a mobile home park, boat ramp or an RV park. I hate to be so negative as the park does have very favorable potential. But, the security folks need to add walking patrols to their duties and engage those that are not following established rules.

Nice Park
Nice Park but sites Very close to each other. Dogs were abundant plus gobs of children. We're older so this more of a kids family place. Great place to launch boats so we were gone anyway most of day. Don't expect to sleep in late here with noise of kids and dogs barking. Still nice people running it and family were friendly.
