Nice Spot
Stayed here one night just passing through. Nice quiet little campground, easy to get to off the interstate.

Beautiful With Private Sites
I just enjoyed two wonderful nights there. Beautiful park in excellent condition throughout. National forest campground with discount for America The Beautiful card holders.

Nice Campground
This campground is small but nice. Depends on neighbors. Sunday night-Thursday are best. Some bathrooms are cleaner than others. The dump station has been fixed. Overall it’s okay.

Dump Station Closed
Great little campground. Many spots are very private with lots of vegetation. Mix of dry, elec, water + electric. Several older bathouses with hot showers, which was good since the one nearest us had a stinky drain so we walked to the other side of the campground to use another. Quaint and nicely laid out. Dump station is no longer available due to structural issues per host, and since the water fill station is near the dump, and it was gated, I had to find an open water/elec site to fill my tanks. Host was also happy to help fill if needed. Dump station at the TA is not accessible really for any RV due to the layout (narrow alleyway and need a 15-20' hose due to reach). The Flying J on Chapman rd has a dump for $10. The cg is close to town but far enough away to feel secluded. Will return.

Quaint & Private
Each spot is paved, neatly maintained and very private. Some of the driveways are ling enough to fit 3 RV's that's how long they are. The campground loop is about .8 mile nice walking grounds. Very pleasant & clean area close to town.

Will Return
Beautiful campground. Water clear and tasty. Grounds well kept. Dump station clean and on an incline. Nice stream to let kids get in and cool off. Garbage dumpsters. Road in good shape.

Wish it Were Closer
I really liked this campground. I wish it were closer. Lots of foliage between sites. Great place to stroll around. There's a 1 mile loop trail connected to campground. An 8 mile moderate difficulty loop trail also connects with the campground. America the Beautiful pass makes the nightly rates very reasonable.

We’ll be back!
We were passing through for the night on our way back to Chicago from the Outer Banks. We loved this place so much we plan on coming back for a longer visit to explore the trails and countryside. Beautiful wooded sites, very private. Friendly fellow campers. Well maintained bathrooms.

A Little Gem
I stumbled on this campground a few years ago while traveling to Florida. First night the hosts introduced themselves and invited me to visit with them at their trailer. They were genuine, honest and kind during my time visiting with them. The next day I began to explore the surroundings and fell in love with the place. Great location, a wide variety of various sites, reasonably priced, close to downtown and 2 bars of 4g on my cell phone which means I had internet and cell service. I make it a point to return here either going back home up north or heading south every year and I am never disappointed.

Agree with other review, great for riding bikes (even for the not so fit). Bath house was stinky. Host was very nice. Would definitely stay there again! Only $22 for electric and water!

Will Camp There Again
Beautiful little campground. Very quite. Bath houses are well kept. Gorgeous pine forest towards back of park. Good bike riding around park. Civilization only 15 minute away in Wytheville, VA. Nice hiking trails. Seven Sisters trail is very challenging. Camped here three separate times in our travel trailer.
