Small Sites

This is a nice ACE campground, but the individual campsites are all tiny. More suitable for tents and small class C motor homes. We pull a Jayco 187MB with an F150. Our site (#46) was a pull-through. Our trailer sat on a somewhat level pad about twenty feet long, with fairly steep ramps entering and exiting the pad. I had to switch to 4WD to pull the trailer up the ramp to the pad. Nice campground for lake usage, but there is almost nothing to do in the general area. Blue Ridge Parkway is half-hour away, Roanoke, VA is 1.5 hours away.

Beautiful peaceful family campground!!! Army Corps owned!!! My favorite swimming hole! Loop A on hill in woods with toilets no showers in this loop. Loop B primitive tent camping with community water and nearby bathhouse with showers. Loop C is on the water with beach and full bathhouse.
