Thinks that it Is a KOA at $60 per night
No vale la peña. Go else where. Now they tell me my review should be 50 words or more. There aren't suficiente curse words to express my dissapointment.

Seasonal camping
Beautiful campground and area BUT...The write up says year round. Park is open year round but camping is not. Call ahead if travelling late fall. We were here Oct 22 and it was closed.

Too Noisy
Close to FWY and train station, it's too noisy. Don't come back again.

FWY Noise
The park was comfortable with walking trails down to the Great Salt Lake. Unfortunately it's too close to the fwy with traffic noise most of the night. Registration was easy on-line prior to us beginning our adventure.

Ok Not Great
Too pricey for being less than 20 feet from the interstate. And the lady at the front gate made me buy a day pass for $15 just to wait an hour in the heat and bugs before she would allow me to pay for a site and go hook up. Beautiful lake, pretty view just not from my space. I won't be back.

Great Water Fun!
Nice quiet campgrounds. Site was level. Not a lot of traffic but that could be Covid. The beach is amazing!

So So
The campground is only 50 yards from the interstate. VERY NOISY. Trains across highway as well. Full hookups nice. Didnt use bathrooms. Nice swim beach. Biggest complaint was woman at gate. Arrived at 2pm. Was told I had to wait until 3pm to see what was available. Sat and baked in 98 degree heat. When I walked back to gate she pulled up info on computer in seconds. Why the wait? Ok for boaters, not so much for campers.

South Campground
Stopped for one night. The host was great, he drove over in 20 degree windy temps to register us and provide info in an open golf cart. Snow drifts across the drive lanes but not deep. Full hookups were available but we only used electric. I would have given it at least a 4 if the bathrooms were open. Only vault toilets due to cold. Feb 4, 2020

South Campground
Great paved spots with 30/50amp, water and sewer. Picnic tables are in grassy areas, clean and level. Reservations are recommended as they will not let you in before 3 pm without them. Rates are $35/night.

Great Park... Right Next To A Freeway
Willard Bay is a great state park that suffers by being next to the Interstate. It has full hookup and dry camping... Your call. It has beaches to walk, boats in the marina. It's clean. Sites are level. Did I mention the freeway? We're using it as a quick overnight on our way to Idaho since the nearby USFS Camp grounds are not yet open. Man, it's been a snowy spring

Good Spot!
We arrived late night in a downpour. Luckily the sites are nice and level. Stayed 5 nights. Road/train noise sucked but overall the family loved it. Its decorated for Halloween with lights and even a larger than life headless horseman! If we are ever staying in this area again i would definitely stay here again.

Ok...
Showers were outdated but had plenty of hot water. Never once saw a Park Ranger (2 nt stay). Convenient location for Ogden.

We stayed at the south marina. Park was quite and clean, except for the bathrooms. Bathrooms were needing cleaned and updated. No shower curtains in the showers.

Loved It.
We stayed for 1 night only but we had a great time. We came at the last minute and they even gave us a spot that was reserved for somebody and called to make sure that the person wasn't going to need the spot that weekend. The water was warm and clean enough to swish our feet in. Even though all the camp spots were taken up nobody was actually out doing anything. We sat by the water on the beach to fish. We didn't catch anything but we had a fun time. The paths are all nice and well kept. Can't wait to go again.
