We have stayed at sites 89, 60, 68, and 71. 60 is our favorite! Close to parking lot so family can visit. Sites are not directly across. Quiet. Trail to the water is a short, picturesque walk through the forest, safe enough for our 7 yr olds grandson to venture alone. Love this state park.
Stayed at this park one night in early March. Nice mostly level sites. I could have had a site on the water had I wanted. Clean, relatively modern bathrooms and showers. I would not hesitate to send a friend here.

Nice Campground
Friendly and helpful staff. No store at park, but close enough (approx 10 min) to Sanger or Pilot Point, if you need anything. Stayed in the Deer Ridge campground. Antenna TV good, lots of channels. Cell phone good, 3 bars (AT&T). Loved the trees and space size - large enough to not be on top of your neighbor. Great walking and biking trails. We will return again
