Nice Grounds, Will Be Back
Stayed here a few weekends back. The sites are nice and neighbors were friendly. There is an exit from the San Marcos river on site with an hour of float left, if you need to run up and get more drinks. Slips are fairly level and very clean. WiFi is strong. Gonzos Tubes will come pick up/drop your group off for $2 more per person.

Not What We Expected
We were her from December 26th 2017 through January 2nd 2018. When we arrived, it was freezing cold and the lady at the front desk was busy taking sharp objects away from her small child, she charged us $55.00 per night with no offer of discounts. The sites are small, very close together and run down. The sites are caliche as are the roads to the sites. There were three RVs in our group. I went back up after we got set up to check on propane, no one was at the desk. After about 15 minutes the lady came in and I ask about a discount for Good Sam, Escapees, finally she gave us a 10 percent discount for Good Sam. She just didn’t seem to care one way or the other if we were happy with the sites , she basically said they are on the river so they can charge high rates. I would find another place to stay next time.

Love Love Love This Park
Me and my family have been visiting this park at least the past 4 years! The owners take great pride in having a family friendly park. The laundry and showers are clean and in order, there is tubing right in the park and they have entertainment for everyone!

We love love love this park!!! We are a military family and they off a military discount of 1/2 off,. We go every year and stay a week. We love the fact that the are on the river and the don't allow tent camping. They are a very family friendly camp ground. No loud music no screaming and yelling after quiet hour (and they will enforce that) We have to book our reservation way in advance for the summer season. If you get a chance you must stay there. I read the bad reviews and have never experienced anything like that. But then again we are pretty respectful of the people around us. So if you are looking to get loud and crazy this is not the place for you.

What A Repressive Place
We stayed for a month, 2/16. We had a great spot, but right from the start, we noticed a very negative vibe. In the laundry room there are signs threatening to throw your laundry away if it's left unattended. Then they have a guy that walks around correcting everyone for any violation of the rules, we nicknamed him hitler. He corrected us for exceeding the park speed limit of 5 1/2mph, then he corrected us because my son parked in the wrong location, even though there was a tree stump where our 2nd spot was suppose to be, not to mention we were eating dinner outside when he decided to correct is. They also go on and on about you have to have a parking pass, but after several attempts to get one and the person that issues them not being in we said screw it. I'll never stay here again.
