Very friendly staff that are willing to help you in anyway they can. Remodel currently happening in the park so some sites are not available. Super clean bathrooms, but shower heads were small that belong in an RV. Beautiful pool and super close to shopping and the bay!

Changes at Ancient Oaks
We had been Wintering there for 6 years. We had "Our Site". Last year the park sold, we were reassigned to another site for "just" this year. Guaranteed to have our old site this year, but then things changed. We gave up and moved to another park.

A Nice, Quiet, Easy Going Park
Great park very close to town and the beach! Great pool, hot jacuzzi, clean showers/restrooms, and laundry room. I haven’t found vending machines but I believe there is a little store in the office during business hours... but you are steps away from a c-store anyway. Rockport was hit hard by Harvey last year, and the effects are still very apparent around town. The spirit and community here is amazing. Also, the people that run the place are very nice... but don’t break the speed limit (5mph)!

Would Definitely Recommend
We stayed here 3 nights. Great Wifi. And there really are ancient oaks. Older part of park needs some TLC, but ask for the concrete slabs area....numbers 400-423. Very nice with trees and palms. Several nice touches include a man in golf cart escorting you to your site (during business hours) and daily trash pickup at your site. May not seem like a big deal, but it was nice to have. Lots of space and very quiet. People are friendly and there are some permanent residents. Exercise room...equipment dated, but still usable. Laundry very good. Washers $1.75 a load, dryers $.25 for a few minutes. Take lots of quarters. Rockport is a nice little area...not so touristy as some places we have been. Check your GPS settings, as highway 35 is a little tricky. The old part of town is quaint. We are cyclists and had a nice ride from the RV park to the gulf. A very nice road/bike and walk road goes along the shoreline with no traffic.
