Awesome RV Park
I read some of the reviews and was concerned by the low star reviews. After looking around we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did! This place was awesome, clean, friendly, and on and on! The ones that wrote a low star review apparently stayed in a different park than we did. I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here every time we come back to this area!

Pictures
We frequently stay at this park a lot. As of last thanksgiving the pictures of the huge pool and jumping pillow are not at this park. And I agree the rates keep going up with no new amenities to justify the raise. Now maybe the park has no control what people post on the park adviser app. But it’s deceiving to someone who might book thinking that’s what’s offered.

Hill Country SUN Resort
Cramped sites very difficult to get into uneven in the lower part. Expensive rates the pools indoor and out are nice, but not worth the price. Resort plays favorites with certain people and won't enforce the quite hours for barking dogs. They keep raising the rates to make up for losses at a resort in SC where the manager ripped off for nearly a million dollars.

Just What We Needed
We were looking for a family friendly camp close to San Antonio attractions and New Braunfels and decided on Hill Country. Good amenities, very family friendly, plenty of stuff for the kids to do and location put us right in the middle of the action. Staff was great and grounds were well kept.

Great Place, Great People!
Been here 12 days. (Our 2nd time this year). This is a great resort. Very clean and well kept. Maintenance crews are moving all day keeping things up. Had to stay longer due to waiting for a part for the RV. Mgmt was very accommodating when we had to extend our stay. A LOT to do in the area also. Plenty to keep busy for a longer stay. Will definitely be back!

This Is the worst camping ground $65+$5
Very close to freeway and with all this, the noise of the freeway is the least bothering. People here are very loud and I have a feeling some of the cabins are rented out to people that stay here on a regular basis. It is clean however the mix of houses/ cabins with the motorhomes in the middle makes a very weird location. The pictures are very different from what the campground looks like. The most expensive camground I have been. I had better views and better prices next to the water !

Unlevel, but pretty
Tried two different back-in sites and both were very unlevel. We fled the first site when we noticed our (long term) neighbor had a dozen wind chimes. Also, check-in is confusing for RVs. But, it's a pretty place with a lot of amenities. We stayed on night with excellent Passport America rates.

Once Parked, You're Golden
I agree that setup here is not for rookies. Although level where it counts, you often have to back into these loose gravel sites uphill over a badly-graded apron, dodging trees and grounding your bumper. Once in place, though, you can enjoy the park, with indoor and outdoor pools and spas, a big playground, nice camp store, craft room with scheduled activities, plentiful well laid-out tiled toilets and bath houses, fenced dog runs all over the property, and adequate Wi-Fi. A fair number of residents, but nothing run down. Park is studded with attractive cabins, eliminating the parking lot feeling. We did wonder why every locomotive in Texas apparently assembled for a rave outside the campground at midnight on our last night. Pricey, but you actually get what you're paying for.

We stayed two nights while we visited schlitterbahn....Well kept property with a nice, big pool for the kids (indoor pool too, but we were there in June), outdoor games and they were playing a movie by the pool the first night. A little pricey, but not like places like yogi bear park. They are strict about their check out time though...I got a phone call because I was hitched up but about 10 minutes late pulling out of our slot.

Cramped Sites...
The sites are cramped and uneven! Can’t be a rookie and try and park here! However, once in place and situated, the amenities were great!! Indoor and outdoor pools. Lots of friendly people/campers. Small dog parks. Very clean and large restrooms/showers - the best we have visited yet!! All sizes of RV with cabins mixed in. Very close to the Schlitterbahn, rivers to go tubing, the Snake Farm Zoo (highly recommended!!) and close to the Caves, which also recommended. Th y also offer military discount!!

Cramped Spaces, Not Very Friendly Staff
Stayed for a few nights while visiting San Antonio. Booked and Paid for our reservation over the phone. Once we arrived we were then told we had to pay more because we have 3 children, and I couldn’t cancel my reservation because it was already passed the deadline to cancel. We will not be back.

Very Nice
We stayed here over New Year holiday. What an awesome place. It has a heated indoor pool. A huge outdoor pool. They also have a separate building with a hot tub and sauna room. The only problem was there were several of us that booked together. One would think that the staff would have put us together or at least close by. This wasn’t the case. We were quite away from the rest of our friends. We had planned a lot of meals together. But when it’s in the low 30’s it doesn’t take long for hot food to get cold. Very disappointing that the staff didn’t put us together.

Well kept. Pools cleans. Convenient highway access. It is a good spot to be close to the river and Schlitterbahn. A bit disappointed that they do not have 20amp hook up and can't change the outlet to work for our needs. Plus, the RV sites are only moderately level. End site has a good deal of slope to it.
