Nice Park
Arrived to find another RV and ask them on how to contact the Memphis City police department as the phone numbers listed and what we found online were not working. They told me they stay here quite often and the city doesn’t have any paperwork to fill out and they said just stay without doing anything. They also said the water is turned off in the winter time but power is on year around. We had a nice quiet stay except for a distant train horn a couple of times thru the night. Parking is fairly level on grass. We would use the park again if coming thru this area. The price is right as there was no charge.

Thank You, Memphis
What a great city park. Playground for the kids, large picnic area, swimming pool (I'm assuming in the summer; it was closed in March). Free RV sites with water and electric. Can be kind of tight for larger rigs. We have a 30' TT and took nearly every square inch to maneuver into a site. If there were other RVs we probably couldn't have gotten in. The other reviewer who said don't come in in the dark evidently didn't read other reviews or look at Google maps...there's one road in. Drive until you see the pool. Can't miss it. RV sites are right there. Quiet and peaceful at night, but did hear some passing trains in the distance. Arrived Sunday evening and stayed 2 nights. Called city hall Monday morning and they just took our info (name, DL, vehicle info). No need to go in. Free!

Free Park
Nice quiet park with 30 & 50 amp and water. You do not need to get a permit like what is on the reviews or on the sign, I called and a permit is not required. Thank the City of Memphis for having such a nice place.

Really nice spot
Stayed for an overnight. Could have stayed longer it was really nice to have free water and electric. I was in a 35' 5th wheel And there was one other camper. It's a city owned park and you have to call the city and fill out their paperwork over the phone. The park itself has lots of shade and I felt totally safe.
