Place is quiet peaceful family friendly resort surrounded by the Texas hill country. The only thing I don't like about it is the majority of the RV area doesn't have a lot of shade. Trees are still young so as time goes the shade issue should be better. Currently we only come to this park in the spring, fall or winter time. We avoid summer. A word of caution, on Hwy 16 coming from Kerrville has 2 or 3 hairpin curves and is not advisable for anyone with a 16 ft or larger RV to negotiate. If your are nearby highpoint you may want to take a day trip through this highway to see for yourself whether or not you want to take this route.

Love It Here
We have camped alot over the last
20 years, and this is one of our favorites. Doesn't get any better than this.

We Love This Place.
We have come here for a few different events and also camped. First time we tent camped, the second time we rented a cabin. This place just has a little magic about it.

Great Place
We live this campground. We have made it a family tradition to come here yearly for holidays. The place is great and everyone is friendly. The sites are nice and the meeting hall is a great place to hang out on a rainy day or at night. Fun for the whole family.
