My First Rv Experience

I am new to RV world, and this is my first trip. I will be using mine for work as a catastrophic adjuster. I came down here to help with the recent hail storm, and could not have picked a better place. Staff is very pleasant, very helpful, helped me with tips and trips as a new RV owner. I would definitely stay here again if called to this area.

New Pads

They have been re-paving all of the pads over the last few years. All seem to be finished except for some enlargement of the car parking areas. Most sites can handle two cars. The RV Park is gated and far enough form the main roads that you don't hear any traffic noise. The folks that run the place are very nice and helpful. This is my second year that I have stayed here and will return next year for sure.

Great Campground!

Love this campground! We have a spacious site with a yard out our door with tall trees and shade. There is a gate in the back of the campground that leads to a park with a beautiful walking path with wide sidewalks about 8 feet wide. Lovely place, safe and secure with a gated entrance. The surrounding area is a little rough, but don’t let that scare you. This is a great campground, I would love to stay longer but we are just passing through.

I was there between October 2013 to October 2014, The space I had very easy to park in, the owners was very nice, most everyone there was Veterans, Military, that was at Ft Hood, nice big park next to Park for long walks, No Pool or Hot Tub, only bad part winters was cold, summers hot and muggy, close to mall, VA Hospital in Temple, , plan on returning sometime in early 2017 and enjoy my retirement

RV full-timer

Ok park. Pads are very close together and not easy for big rigs. Paved roads are are almost completely patches. At least it's not possible to exceed the 9mph speed limit. Feels secure, completely gated and secure.
