We stopped for an over night. Very nice park. There were several other RVs there. They seem to be staying for the full season. Plenty of space and could stay hooked up. The bathrooms were not very clean and smelled. Directions from web are somewhat off. Need to call the city offices to get a permit and pay fee. They were super nice and came out to collect the fee instead of us going to the office. Beautiful park.

Hidden Gem
Pulled in to find only one other trailer in the park. Turned out to be a very nice young police officer who lives at the park. As mentioned in another review, he patrols a few times in the evening, but is friendly if you stop to say “Hi”. Gorgeous trees/river, plus large play structures for kids. No trains or road noise at all! Quietest camping around. Only issue for some will be the weight-limited bridge to access. Must be under 16k lbs gross. No drop box, so have to pay on city web site or at city hall between 8a-5p. Would definitely stay again.

No Thanks
Passed a police officer on the way in, then watched as he circled the park every 15 minutes...then he parked right next to us for a few hours at dusk & when we woke up the next morning he was parked right next to us again....very strange & unsettling. There must be a reason for so much police activity.
