Spring Break
Just got home from a quick, 2-night getaway at Jim Hogg. Campsite 117 in the shady area away from the lake. Perfect spring weather. As others have said, sites are big, so you don't feel crowded at all. But if you go during Spring Break, remember there will be LOTS of families with children of all ages, so you won't found absolute quiet and solitude.

Beautiful campground. Spacious sites some level and some not. Paved sites good 30 amp service. Like many Corp of engineer parks the bathhouse could stand some repairs and remodeling. Several toilets were out of order. Good value and nice quiet park. Plenty of deer.

We stayed 4 nights. The space between sites is nice. Sites are fairly level especially side to side. Roads are good. Views are spectacular. My only issue is the showers need a good cleaning. We will stay here again. For the cost it is probably the best option for us when visiting family in cedar park.

Great for a short stay!
We stayed here for 2 nights in an RV bduring our sons baseball playoff games in Georgetown and thoroughly enjoyed it...peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The park was not too crowded. The only negative was the shower/bathroom facilities which were quite dirty.

Very nice campground. Large spots with shelters at each site. Quiet lakeside and some more secluded sites. You need a vehicle to get to a store as there is nothing on site. Marina on site for those with boats.

Love This Campground
We have stayed here four times while visiting friends in Sun City. We opt for shaded sites away from the lake, but there are quite a few sunny lakeside sites, too. Some sites have 50 amps and some have 30. Quiet, peaceful, and close to Georgetown and Salado. A real bargain, too. With Golden Age pass it is half-price. You can reserve in advance online, see a good map, and choose your site.

Great Campground
Nicely spaced sites. Situated on beautiful lake. The price is right and even better with a National Park pass. Conveniently located to all Georgetown shopping & entertainment. Love this place!
