$20
Good overnight
I counted 9 campsites, not 11 and only the first 5 were available. Sites 6 through 9 were closed. Confusing instructions, told by phone to pay at the gate in the drop box, yet there is no dropbox. The payment envelope says to drop off at City Hall in the blue box in front of the building, yet the blue box says water bill payments only (left the payment there anyway).
Each site has electric, water and septic hook up, plus a picnic table.
As another reviewer stated, the bathrooms have a lot to be desired. Two flush toilet stalls, a sink and a shower (women’s, didn’t check the men’s) and needed cleaned. Didn’t use them, luckily I have my own in my rig.
Good overnight, think $15 would have been more in line. Good Verizon service.

Class A
Passing through. A little distance off of 36 but easy drive. Hook up along Drivers side of park road. Level quiet and patrolled by local police. Easy in and out. Call Cheri with visitors bureau she will meet you in the park for pay. From 36 exit on 84 (main st) through town to 7th (court house) left dead ends into park loop around and pick a spot. Will stay again for overnight. $20. 254-499-0102. Cell

Just a heads up. Must check in and pay at police dept prior to camping. Arrived late and in the rain. The signage at the entrance is small with the pay info even smaller. Officer informed me at 12 am that I needed to go the dept to register and pay. Not in the. Morning but right now. Lucky I'm in a class b so easy enough. That being said. Bath and showers were not the best and I preferred to use my own. Not much to see in the park but does have a large playground with Ol school equipment for the kids
