Padre Balli Park
Love staying here! Very nice people. Sad Bob Hall Pier was closed off after the hurricane. But understandable. Still a very quiet peaceful place to stay and decompress. Hot showers. Gulf is walking distance. No loud rude people or loud equipment. Police patrolling the area. Park or coast personnel there to help if you get vehicle stuck in sand. I have this place on my beach list so I can come back again. Thank you to all the personnel there!!

Padre Billie Dump station
We did not stay at the campground, but we did use the dump station. It is $4 to dump and fill with water. The station is behind the gates. One would need to go to the office and pay first to be able to get to it. When we went it was not busy at all. We were able to fill with water, dump our tanks, and throw our trash away in the dumpsters near the dump station. The station worked properly and seemed to be well maintained.

Run, Don’t Walk
After travelling 2800 miles, checking out all manner of Campsites, this place rates lowest of low. Ok, we don’t expect posh resort style digs but this place takes the word “sketchy” to a whole new level.Let’s just say, we spent a couple of hundred bucks on high end locks and chains to secure belongings. Park is divided into 3 areas, “high-end”for 50/nt , ghetto, horror movie area for 25/nt and nice paved tent pads. Washrooms closer to the beach area are a crime scene waiting to happen. Pot holes, bigger in TX, will definitely devour a Mini Cooper. Rough looking people...yep, those too. Even someone living full time in a home made plywood box on wheels! Bit of rain and you have your own private infinity pool. Not sure how anyone rates this more than a 1 but they might want to try some National Parks to compare. Beach could be nice if you can look beyond poop logs and BILLIONS of bits of plastic trash. Come on TX! Clean it up!! Lucky there is a word limit for this review...

$50
It’s $30 a night for the parking lot camping and $50 a night for a pad, but it’s full hookup. $4 to dump and fill water. Stay at the beach for $12 per year!!

Loved It
Yes, it is a little run down. But did I mention the beach, the bar and restaurant, great food. Also watch surfers. Nice pier to walk out on. All was accessed by a short walk from our motohome. I didn’t have any problem with showers, or anything else for that matter. &25.00 night. WOW also very friendly and helpful people in office and on the phone. I will surely be back here again. Can’t wait

Unreliable Power & Crappy Set Up
Called a month agead of time to reserve a full hookup site. Arrived in the afternoon, they had us down for $25/night for power & water hookup (no sewer). Power went out three times last night. They do not offer military or veterans discounts, nor do they honor the America the Beautiful Access Pass. They are a county park, which explains the roads being in such disrepair. You are Right by the pier and the water, that's about the only plus in my book.

Parking Lot
Its not a campground its a parking lot close to the beach. I think the restroom need a good refresh. Same for the picnic table. A bit expensive for the spot.....

Great Park Near the Beach
This is an older park that belongs to the county. The spaces are close together and the restrooms are old but clean. The county is building a new much nicer sections, but the prices will be much higher. Right now you can stay for $25.00 a night but when the new section opens it will probably be double that according to a friend of mine that works there. Also this is a beach resort, so if you don't like being near pop ups and older rusty rigs, this might not be the place for you. I go there several times a year to visit friends and family.

Yep, Like A Parking Lot-but The Beach!
Very close together, in fact, two picnic tables, in line, separate each site with electric and water between the tables. This means every other lot has services on the wrong side-like is. Had to runs lines under our class A. But beach access is right at our front door. No view of it from our RV coz of a huge dune, but right beyond. We won’t be using showers but understand they are $1.00 for 4 minutes! Also, cash great, in state checks only and $4.25 fee to use credit or debit. Staff friendly.

Parking Lot Camping
This park has a nicer section under construction but unavailable. All the rigs are situated on a big parking lot behind the dunes. It’s just a short, convenient walk to the Gulf. Sites are close and the covered picnic tables are right next to each other. I found the bathroom/shower facilities lacking- a fellow camper referred to the showers as third world. It costs $3 to walk the pier ($1 seniors). I wouldn’t stay here again but for proximity to the beach it’s nice.

Nice Place To Recharge
We've been boondocking for a month but tonight decided to pay & plug in here with the storms coming. I called ahead and very nice lady I talked to on phone. We got here, plugged up, rinsed RV down and hooked water. They have showers and bathrooms here love that!! We will dump and fill water tank in am at checkout. No matter what time you check in here during the day checkout after one night is Noon. We turned a.c. on and while RV was cooling down walked to the beach at Bob Hall Pier and put our feet in the water for a bit. Nice clean place to hookup and reasonable priced! Will be back if this is needed again!!
