Great State Park
Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet, spacious sites. Clean restrooms. Lots of trails and roads to walk or bike. Beautiful lake. Plenty of birds. The construction isn't a problem. Close to the caverns and town. We would stay here again.

Inks Lake State Park
All 50 amps , many restrooms two are new and very nice. Know your site , some are difficult for 30’ or longer. Overall scenic and very nice.

Quite A Find
Traveling across TX & read good reviews which did not disappoint. Camped near amazing new bathhouse. Got in at sunset and wished we had longer to stay. Beautiful park and many sites right on the lake.

Great State Park
Stayed here 2 nights. It’s a beautiful park and pretty much had the park to ourselves since it was right after Labor Day. We went swimming, kayaking, and hiked the park. Try the Devils Waterhole...it was fantastic. The RV site (253) was spacious and it seems like none the sites are on top of each other. It was uneven as I suspect most of them are. Only had water/electric and a full hookup would be ideal, but it was fine for two nights. Be sure to get a site by one of the new bathrooms. It was clean, but not air conditioned. We would definitely stay here again.

November Visit
Loved this park! Tent camped for 4 nights. I️ changed campsites 3 Times to experience different areas. 315, 311, 317 are all beautiful with water views and lots of space under trees around fire ring. Friendly staff! Kayak, canoe and paddle boat rentals. We pulled right up to our campsite (311) in our kayak. Firewood available 24 hours from vending machines at restrooms. Beautiful views of devils watering hole from water and hiking trail. It’s a 9 mile drive into Kingsland where the house used in 1973 chainsaw massacre movie is now an adorable cafe with delicious burgers, wraps, daily specials, etc.

Hill Country Gem
My family has been coming here for years because this is a beautiful park. This is Texas hill country. It is a constant level lake meaning water is let out of Lake Buchanan to maintain the level. We stay at sites on the lake. There is shallow swimming near shore. And a 40' jump into the devil's water hole. Hiking trails are excellent. If you haven't been here you are missing out.

Great park, nice trails and a awesome place to go for a swim. No complaints except for coming across a rattle snake on one of the trails and almost stepping on it (:
