Nice Break
We stayed 3 nights in early December on our way to see the kids. Very nice. Full hook ups. Just a few of us there. Host had lovely holiday decor. Got to hike the trails which are a good walk for an older person.

We spent two nights here on our way to Galveston. Nice sites and views. Bathhouse ok, but COLD. NO HEATERS. Texas gets cold...

Great spot. Nice level well spaced spots. Camp host was very diligent in the discharge of her duties. Which is fine because the noise was at a minimum, clean bath house, and well maintained spots.

Beautiful Park
This park is beautiful, wooded, hilly and well maintained. The pull through spots are easy, level and we enjoyed the large space between campsites.
The only negative was the gnats are really bad.

Had A Great Stay
The park is beautifully situated and we enjoyed our visit. Definately off the beaten path. There are only a few full hookup sites. The rest are water and electric. Campground hosts were super nice and even delivered firewood to our site. Restroom maintenance is not the best but they were reasonably clean.
Be aware that Texas state parks charge an entry fee per person even when you camp. The annual state park pass for $70 eliminates this fee and also gets you 50% off your second nights stay.
We would stay again.

Two Night Trip
Stopped here on our journey.
Nice park, very quiet, pad sites a little akward, but nice place to make a pit stop.

It’s A Diamond
This is a gem of a state park. The sites are not that level but very nice. Would definitely recommend the stay!

Lovely Park
This was a great little jewel to find. Park staff is friendly and is one of the least expensive state parks in Texas.
Great pull through sites with 30 amp electric and water. Bathroom and showers are clean. There aren't very many people staying at the park, so we had one whole campground to ourselves.
Very quiet and beautiful scenery. 2 bars Verizon LTE and perfect data throughput.
$14 per night with state park pass covering entry. No pass, it is $3 per person per day for entry fee.
