Perfect for an overnight!
Small park with gravel pull-throughs that will accommodate a 40-foot motorhome with a full-size toad, no unhooking!! We called at 8pm, only 30 minutes out and were warmly greeted by a human saying Yes, come on in. When we arrived the owner's sister came out to meet us and said to pick our spot. Only 2 other campers besides us, nice clean sites, no amenities (which we didn't need). Picnic table and BBQ at each site. Very quiet; far enough from the expressway to have minimal truck noise. We'll add this one to our 'Good places' list! Oh, and a military discount!!

This place is awesome. Easy off and on for I 40. Views as far as you can see. Cattle and horses are all around. Very level sites. 50 amp ,water, and clean out on every site. Very affordable, cash or check only. Will definitely be back.

Good Nights Rest
Great caretaker (owner) good price and views. Close to I40 with out the noise. On old route 66, including a old 66 service station. Station is closed now

Overnight RV Camping
Wonderful experience. So happy you were there and could accommodate us. My wife was very sick and we didn’t feel like struggling to find a place as we tried to rush home. You were right on I-40. What a blessing. Nothing fancy but with all the facilities and just what we needed. God bless. I pray you are able to keep this going. We hope to return for a visit when all is well one day.

Great / Quiet Stop
Stopped here last year and again this year for a night. Donna (the owner) is super sweet and is so knowledgeable (she grew up here) about Route 66. We’ll keep coming back every time we are in the area.

Nice Little Place
I agree with most of the other positive reviews. It’s a nice place to stay and very quiet even though it is close to the expressway. However, they just raised their price to $25 per night for 30 amp full service. Said their electric bill went up $100 last month. Very nice people. I would recommend this RV park. Nice breeze the day we stay.

Good Stop Over
Small (12 pull-throughs) has water electric and septic. No laundry, shower or cable. Self contained and DVD's your good, but hey price is great! ($20 cash-late check-in box)

Phone Number Is (806) 207-0077
Careful which number you dial. The 512 number is another park outside of Austin. Dial (806) 207-0077 for an easy overnight spot.

Best Little Campground In Texas
This place is so relaxing. Small enough to allow privacy. We were alone the night we stayed. You can see do miles and miles. Full hookups including 50 amp electric. Gravel and dirt but the view makes up for it. Sweet lady running it. Best spot you’ll ever rent for $20.

Nice, quiet, scenic views, Pull Throughs
Was breezy the day we stayed, loved it, hot day. Plugged in, self contained, was good. Stayed one night. Great scenic views of vast lands, quiet, a good stay for winding down. Self check-in, $20 a night. Plain pull throughs of flat grounds. Not too far from hwy. No showers or laundry.

Overpriced Parkng Lot
We stayed here one night - very simple. Wouldnt come back it was literally a dirt parking lot of $50!!! But its right off the freeway so it has that going for it.

Nice overnight spot. $20.00 for a FHU site is just about unheard of. Close to I-40 so some noise, weak WiFi but it does work. Nice friendly couple run the park. If you're traveling East or West this is a convenient stop. No showers or laundry so you best be self contained, but hey, what do you want for $20.00. Cheers

Great Value
Good sized spots and good hookups. Only draw back is it may be hard for some larger coaches to level. I air leveled and tires did sink a bit so I am sure jacks would have. It may be fine for jacks but since I am not sure and did see a smaller jack print at our site I wanted to mention it.

Awesome
The other reviews are so right. This is a great place for the money. Horses right outside our window! Could use some trees but other than that we have no complaints.

Nice
Stayed one night on our way home from California. Mom and pop type of place. Plenty of space to roam. Not a parking lot type. Saw horses right up next to us. The couple even took us in their golf cart to see the old 66 service station down the road . No bath but had our own and the price was right. Love the place would like to stay longer but need to get home.
