Decent, But Could Be Better
Smaller sized park that’s quiet, looked to be mostly seasonal/full timers. Roads from the north/east will take you through the tourist towns with all the traffic, and the road to the west is typical TN mountain road for about 10 miles west of the park. Many of the “back in” sites are backwards, so people had to pull in. We had site #24 which had plenty of space, but it’s on a hill, with a longer driveway, and a 90* turn at the end, not recommended for rookie drivers. Cell signal (Verizon) is weak, and their wi-if was inconsistent, ranged from useable to none.

Very Relaxing
We stayed here in our 26ft travel trailer for our very first camping trip with it for our week long vacation (site 26). Nice views especially some of the other sites as the back of the park goes up a incline. Very easy pull in site, with picnic table, and fire pit. Gravel sites. The sites are very spacious and make it more private feeling. We really liked it here. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be our neighbor near us as they seemed like they had an attitude towards us as we tried to wave at them several times and be friendly. They never spoke to us or waved. Not sure what the issue was as we were very respectful and quiet. Many of the sites here are full timers but there are several sites available for stays as well. Overall we really liked it here, and would definitely come back.

Awesome Mountain Views
We stayed for a whole week during Christmas time (site 20). The views are wonderful! Close to the main strip of Pigeon Forge, but tucked away from the hustle & bustle. In and out access was great. Sites are spread apart from each other, so that you're not on top of your neighbor. The cable & wifi worked great. We will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding!!!
We stayed July 4 week 2019, upon arrival our transmission blew a seal and dumped every bit of transmission fluid as we were backing our 43' ft. 5th wheel into our spot. The owner of the campground came and offered to finish parking our camper with his tractor and offered us the use of his brand new truck for the week while we were there!! This wonderful family (owned/operated by multiple family members) went above and beyond to help us enjoy our vacation and we will forever stay at this campground for any/all future trips to the Smokies!
This campground is clean, very spacious, quiet, has a pool with karaoke and grill. Food is delicious and extremely well priced! They also rent cabins that have beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. Is minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. Located in a great place where you can avoid all of the traffic and get around to multiple trails, lookout sites and restaurants.

Very Nice
Stay here for several days in early November in 44’ coach. Sites are gravel but good size and level. Nice view of Smokey’s out our windows. Park employees were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful and Relaxing
Loved our stay at Honeysuckle. The campground is well maintained and sites are large and spread apart. Our site had a covered deck with a picnic table and full hook ups. It seemed that there were several permanent residents in the area where our campsite was. So it was very quite most of the time, which was fine by me. The Mountain View’s from the campground are beautiful. The kids love the pool. It was clean and has a small cafe which has great root beer floats. My only complaints would be that there is no bathhouse or laundry facility. I would not recommend tent or pop up camping. A bathhouse would’ve been nice for those days when all five of us had to have a shower after hiking. That said, The staff was very helpful and courteous. This is a great campground away from all the traffic of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, right on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We will definitely visit again.

Great place with large sites and very friendly people. Had a great time at the clean pool and good food at the deli. Enjoyed the stay on the large site with room enough for all five of us to spread out without being on top of our neighbors with beautiful views. Can't wait to come back!
