Beautiful Park
Small park, well spaced sites, well maintained, nice walking and hiking. Full hookups on a few sites. Sites vary in length from very short to easily able to accommodate our 44 motor home and a tow vehicle.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful campground. There are short sites and long sites. We fit our 35 ft trailer and our Chevy van on one long site without unhooking. It was very level. It had grass, firepit, and table at each site. There weren't a lot of obstacles and that's the way I like it. There are some shady, and some sunny spots. Park was about 1/2 full beginning of April. There's a large playground, and ball fields adjacent. You can make a reservation online and pick the spot you want. You have to pick day before, or you can call and pay with a clerk next day like I did.

Very Nice
We enjoyed our stay here. Full hookups, and large spaces on asphalt. No pull-thrus, so we unhooked and went into Clinton(town close by), and ate at a Waffle House for the first time. They had the friendliest people! Enjoyed our stay!

Horseback Riding
Panther creek has a place to park horse trailers for day riding only. There are no horse facilities in the park and camping overnight with horses is not allowed. The trails go from easy to rough. The trail to the lake access and back is a pretty easy ride. Some rocks but not steep. The lake access for horses is a lagoon area with no thru boat traffic. You are allowed to take horses into lake there. The loop that leaves from the lake has steep places and the trail is narrow with drop offs. Definitely not for inexperienced horses or riders. However you can ride back out on the same trail used to access lake. The last trip there a month ago had some trees down over trail but you can go off trail and around. It's a decent place to ride. The trailer parking area is in a big field. Plenty of room to park and turn around a big trailer but if ground is wet 4 wheel drive truck is needed. Have a good ride and see y'all down the trail!

Retired
I dare you to find better or cleaner restrooms in any park! We've traveled all of North America and they are the best. Probably not related to the bean factory nearby.

Beautiful!
Close to a small town, but feels secluded. Small campground with nice playground. The amenities should also list biking and hiking trails. It's also very close to a boat ramp for lake access. It's a short walk to a beautiful lookout over the lake, with a mountain view. This same lookout has lots of picnic tables.
