Needs Updates
I love the surroundings and I expect not to have service. I do have to say the showers need updating, one the temp couldn't be controlled, but my biggest complaint is the narrow road leading from the visitor center to the campground. At best it 1.5 lanes and passing an oncoming RV forced me from the road down a Sharp decline on the edge of the road. Just widen the road and cut some of the trees on the road, please. Go in at your own judgement.

Hidden Gem
We took our 5th wheel here for our first trip to stay close to home. This park is gorgeous. The rangers are all very friendly. Quiet, and lots to do.

Great Trip!
This was our 2nd trip in our new camper. Sites were level and clean. Few neighbors, but it is the middle of January. Camp host was very helpful. Bathhouse was very clean, as was the dump station. Zero cell reception; glad we brought the walkie-talkies for parking. Looking forward to another trip in the future!

Nice park! It has playgrounds, frisbee golf, lake and hiking trails. Most of the amenities were closed in the winter but they gave us 30% off the nightly rate. Sites have 50/30 amp with water and a dump station. Our 36’ class A fit just fine.

Returned For Another Stay
Lovely and large park with wonderful old growth tree canopy. They’ve added a nice aviary by the lake, and we truly enjoyed paddle boating. Grandkids literally said that it has the best playground that they’ve ever seen (by the lake). The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the showers - too few and not so great.

Take your Bug Spray
This is a very quiet set back in the park campground but with that being said TAKE BUG SPRAY... I am used to mosquitoes but they are the worst I have ever seen. There are a lot of tree's and a lot of shade. The bath houses are nice and were cleaned every day but be careful in there too because the mosquitoes were bad in there too. They dont have a lot of things to do for kids except a park to play at.

When you hook up, plug in before you set up. It took 3 tries to find a site with a good 30 amp breaker.

Nice But Outdated
Nice campground. Very pretty and open. Needs updating though, mostly in the bathhouse.

Nice campground with lots of shade. But when were there in 2013 the bathroom were in bad shape. And there was no cell service. All in all it's a nice place to stay
