Quiet Small Park
Stayed here as an overnight on our trip. Very nice small park. We stayed at the Main Campground in the only pull through site. Other sites were nicely graded gravel. The shower house was one of the nicest I have ever seen, although I like a little more water pressure and a bit warmer water, but it was just fine.
BE AWARE: the grade going up to Main Campground is 20+%. The Ranger warned us NOT to slow down. We drive a 250 so no problem for us but our old 150 would have struggled.
We did a bike ride of the entire loop of the park and it was challenging with that grade but fun. A portion of the back side (River Front Road) is all rock and gravel, not paved.

Great Camping Ground...But!
We stayed for 2 nights. Camp sits for RV are small suggests under 25 feet. Hiking trails are ok, but for summer hiking stick to the river front trail for a great hike. Park near the swimming beach and walk North. Make sure to get the map of the park. You can walk the riverfront trail all the way to the historic mouse tail landing. Bathrooms and camping sites are all modern. There is a dump station.
Enjoy!

Nature Lovers Paradise
This is a beautiful camp with great shady sites, good electric, and good water. Very well maintained and a wonderful staff. Many programs daily for all ages.
This is not a good place for big rigs or under powered TVs. There is a very steep hill that goes to camping area. Also some sharp turns on grades that are a little tight. There aren't any signs on the way in to park from hwy13.
Great for tent camping and smaller RVs.
