Beware!

Be advised that even though checkout is 12 noon and there is a late checkout fee, there is nothing in the paperwork that tells you that you CANNOT check in before 2 o'clock. No exceptions. You will be directed to the boat launch to wait (where there is no designated parking). We've been to campgrounds all over the country and never been denied early check-in so long as it was after checkout.

Great Place On A Big Lake.

We spent 7nights camping here! Friendly staff that work hard to keep the grounds neat and tidy with daily trash pickups outside of each campsite. Every single site has a view of the expansive lake. The restrooms were clean and well stocked! There was also a kindly gentleman that drove a pickup full of firewood daily through the camp and sold us nice wood. I would highly recommend this campground!

Great State Park On Huge Lake

Great location off US27. Limited dump stations. Many used portable tanks - blue boys to move gray water. We have 36' 5th wheel not dumping for a week. Tight spots, some do not allow slides. Too few 1st come sites. Really need rsvp. for longer stays. Some full sun and shaded sites. Have an unshaded spot next to playground - too hot for kids to use!

Our FAVORITE Campground!

Nice, but not for large RVs

We were going to stay here for a couple of weeks but couldn't find a suitable site. 90% of the sites were ok for smaller trailers that could level on them but the height difference needed for long RVs was to much for us. Beautiful Lake view but VERY crowded when we looked in June. A side note (not a bad thing), the roads leading to and in the park are narrow with steep inclines. Drive carefully!!
