Kids Vacation

Park is older, shaded with lake. Lots for kids to do, playground and if you don't mind the price the water park is in walking distance. Bath house and laundry are very dated. Saved my laundry and we used our shower. We were in spot 15. Park is tight for large rigs. We are 34ft .

Looks like this place was once nice. Unfortunately, its slowly drying from apathy. Everything is run down and neglected. Concrete sites are weathered and broken. Picnic tables need replaced. Boat dock has collapsed and they have left it's carcass sticking out of the water. Bathrooms, and other structures all need work. Even the entry sign needs repainted. I dont recommend this place.They are still charging a 5 star price for a 2 star park.

Lots of things for the kids to do! Very peaceful looking out at the lake from our site. Water pressure is very high. We would definitely return.

Overpriced and needs Updating

Unfortunately, this did not meet our expectations. We stayed 5 nights in a Lakeview site. It was pricey and was smaller than the non-premium sites. The “lakeview” site was surrounding by a chain link fence. This park is much older and the sites are not designed to accommodate big rigs. Yes, you will fit but it is very tight. And once you’re in your spot along the lake, good luck pulling out unless you back up to maneuver out. Also, be cautious of the water pressure. We use a regulator and our supplemental hose burst. There is a nice water park for cooling off and would be fun for those with kids.

Older Resort with tighter spots. The sites were not designed for larger RV nor was the park design well thought out. Pull-thru sites appeared to be more spacious but the back-in sites along the lake (which are premium sites) are close together. Be cautious of the water pressure. It was extremely high even with a regulator. Beautiful views is the lake and nice water park for cooling off.

Save Your Money

Payed extra for a lakeside site ($70) which are half the width of all other sites. I put my 10 x 10 canopy up against my unit and the other side was 2 feet into the adjacent site. When I turned on the water to flush out my supply hose it was brown. (Note: after leaving to a new campground a week later I had to flush my water filter 4 times to clean out all the brown crap!). The bathhouses are air conditioned but the floor stay wet all the time. There are no places to put your clothes or soap. Ran out of t.p. twice. Save your money folks!!!

If you are traveling with kids and planning on using the water park, you might love it. We stayed here as we were passing through on our way further east. They put us right in front of the water slide. It was so noisy during park hours with the music and screaming. Also there is no division between the day parking lot and the RV sites, so don’t leave anything out. Did see some police action catch up with some kids who stole a wallet in the park. Sites were fine, roads were tight. Had a shuttle to downtown and the Opry which was nice. Just wish we would have had a spot further back.

Nashville Shores RV was not a good experience for us. So close together, noisey, bathhouse needed major cleaning. Very limited views and sandwiched in between the water park and the Spook walk was not good planning. On the positive side we liked the Pooch Park and the sewer right on our site.

Good Experience For Kids And Family

We came to Nashville Shores for our inaugural trip. We had an excellent experience. Kids loved the water park on Saturday--it was clean and well staffed. We easily Ubered into downtown Saturday evening and back; grounds were nice and well kept; clean shower house. You can go to water park; rent kayaks and paddle Boards as well as the marina offerings all on site. Tree top course looked really fun for older kids and adults.

Got reservations for this park 6/17.this park is hard to find GPS could not find it.when I got to the park problems started.site power did not work.moved to another site that was not lake view and was next to sewer return manhole that was being pumped out.made me nauseated so moved to another site which was better but could not enjoy my stay there because throughout the park the strong odor of sewer is too much.the park is great with a water park and lakeview it is just not maintained.for what they charged I expected more from a resort type campground.very dissappointed.

Nice Park On The Water

When the water park is not open this is a nice quiet campground on the water. Easy walk to the marina and bbq joint. Close to town. Big or long rigs -Don't take the roundabout at the end to get turned around just go back out the way you came in. Sites have table and fire pit.
